"Delhi HC has reaffirmed that we are the true AIADMK" CM Edapadi on Two leaves symbol judgement

Talking on the sidelines of inaugurating the much awaited Avinashi - Athikadavu scheme in Avinashi, CM Edapadi addressed the press on various issues.

When the question was raised to him about what he felt about the Delhi High Court adjudicating that the Two leaves symbol belongs to the EPS-OPS faction of the AIADMK, the CM was quick to note that “We have been saying this for a long time now. Ours is the true and only AIADMK organisation that has been recognised by the party and its cadres.

Those who came in suddenly like TTV Dhinakaran and tried to lay claim to the organisation have been taught a good lesson as he was acting upon the instigation of DMK. And there is no scope for appeal in our opinion as this has been referred by higher court. Even if they appeal, nothing is going to change as we are going to give the same proof and they are going to give the same proof and the judgement is going to be the same.

The Delhi High court has just upheld what we and other courts have been saying for a long time.”

The CM was apparently in a very cheerful mood as his party has crossed some important milestones today and was accompanied by other ministers like SP Velumani and other important party members.
